HydraCAD Version 50/51 - Coming soon to a city near you!

Hydratec will be making a series of one-day presentations in meeting rooms in selected cities around the country to show off our new HydraCAD Version 50/51 software. This version of HydraCAD is a complete overhaul of our drafting, calculation and listing tools.

In the morning, we will demonstrate the best new features of Version 50. We will also answer questions that arise. After a complimentary lunch, we will demonstrate 3D coordination using Navisworks and our new HydraCAD Residential sprinkler design program - HydraCAD-R.

All Hydratec customers are welcome - there is a nominal US $40 charge for these seminars, prepaid via credit card. We cannot give refunds if you cannot make it. You should download and install Version 50 or 51 before attending so that you may be better prepared to ask questions.

Please call us with your credit card information and the number of attendees you would like to register. We are only taking reservations now for the cities on the Confirmed City List.

How to vote on locations:

Please vote for the cities which you would be willing to attend and register for the Road Show. As these cities are confirmed, they will move from the voting list to the Confirmed City List.

8:30 - 12:00pm          Hydratec presentation on HydraCAD v50. This presentation will be classroom style with short periods of question and answer sessions.  The topics covered during this time will include:

·         Installation tips and overview of changes

·         SMaRTools technology – 3D as easy as 2D

·         New stacked riser nipples.

·         Auto-CALC – SMaRTer than ever – Easier reference points, easier pipe schedules and better paths.

·         Auto-LIST is more flexible and more complete than ever.

·         Converting v40 drawings to v50… and back… and why?

·         EasyPack revisited – clipping planes and dimensioning.  More Pumps, more fittings, more better.

·         Database updates for HydraLIST – benefits of the complete Hydratec Standard Database and/or switching between databases..

·         Drawing system sections and details.

·         Using system boundaries to go faster

2:00 – 5:00pm           Free form question and answer period.  This session will start with an open collection of questions from everyone in the group. We can then organize all the questions so as to provide as many answers as possible in a logical order.  Any questions about HydraCAD, HydraLIST and/or HydraCALC are welcome.   Some typical questions may include:

·         What’s new in AutoCAD 2010

·         AutoListing using specific fabrication techniques

·         AutoCalcing multiple areas
